Crispi was founded in 1975 in Italy by Alessandro Marcolin, starting as a small workshop focused on high-quality leather boots for mountaineering. The brand quickly became known for combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with technical innovation.

Through the 1980s and 1990s, Crispi expanded into hunting, trekking, and outdoor boots, introducing advanced materials like Gore-Tex and Vibram soles while keeping production in Italy.
