What makes OPRA different?

OPRA is a non-profit discount program run by those who serve - for those who serve.
Registered in the Norwegian Government Volunteer Registry, OPRA partners with leading businesses to recognize and reward the people who take personal risks to protect others and our societies.

Our mission:

  • Establish a culture that honors and recognizes high-risk efforts in service of our societies.
  • Strengthen recruitment and retention within operational professions and volunteer rescue services.
  • Honor exceptional role models through the OPRA Gratitude Fund.

Free access

Access to OPRA is free.

Several of our partners help fund OPRA´s operations through paid exposure or transactions made via OPRA, while at the same time offering Norway's best discounts for those who serve.

The OPRA team would like to express sincere gratitude to all colleagues and labor unions who have supported the establishment of OPRA.

OPRA Gratitude Fund

The OPRA Gratitude Fund (org. no. 931 360 256) is dedicated to honoring individuals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in their service.

The fund is the organization behind The Valor Spear, an honorary award presented to outstanding role models within operational professions and volunteer rescue services. Each recipient is awarded The Valor Spear, a certificate of recognition and a grant of EUR 1,500 in appreciation of their exceptional contribution.
