OPRA - Operative Discount - is a closed community discount program for military personnel, first responders, rescue services and veterans.

OPRA is run on a voluntary basis during the free time of full-time operatives, along with one of Norway's leading developers. In the long term, the aim is to hire part time staff to increase continuity in OPRA's work.
Several of our supporters contribute to our ongoing operations through paid exposure or transactions made via OPRA, while at the same time offering Europe's best discounts for those who serve.

The OPRA Gratitude Fund (org. no. 931 360 256) is run using surplus funds from OPRA. The fund aims to honor individuals who have gone above and beyond what is expected in their service.
The OPRA Spear is an honorary award given to exemplary role models in operative professions and voluntary rescue services. Recipients of the award receive the OPRA Spear, a testimonial, and 1500 EUR.

Meet some of the team:
Team leader Eric Lein works in the Norwegian Air Force as a search and rescue pilot.
Developer Kristofer Giltvedt Selbekk is head of front-end development in one of Norway's largest IT companies. He does all the work with OPRA in his spare time, as a thank you to a group of people he personally appreciates.
Head negotiator Sissel Espedal has a background in negotiations from the Police Force and holds a degree in law enforcement.
When registering, documentation confirming active or previous operative service is required. All documentation is deleted immediately after approval.
Military personnel and law enforcement officers have an alternative and recommended verification method that does not involve uploading documentation. You will be introduced to this during the signup process.
OPRA provides the option to create a secure registration page for your organization or team. This page, exclusively shared with your organization or team members, does not require uploading of any documentation. The only requirement for access is an email address (username). For further assistance, please contact us at team@opra.no.
To protect your privacy and security, OPRA has minimized the collection of your personal data and usage information. Your private email address is the only personally identifiable information stored on encrypted servers.
OPRA will never request any additional information from you, such as your name, address, age, gender, phone number, employer, social security number, payment details, etc.
We strongly advise using a unique password exclusively for OPRA.
